Is moving not really an option in CoC?

A friend of mine and his group has been trying CoC. He made the comment that the game keeps devolving down to line up and shoot. He loves the patrol phase, but once that’s done there is little to encourage movement. Your punished by moving (losing cover status) and the morale points don’t make lose ...

Using command dice in any order?

You can use your command dice in any order correct? For example (assuming you have all the dice you need) an unbuttoned tank uses 1 die to move from cover and auto acquires a tank in the open. Then uses a die to aim, a die to shoot, then use another die to move back out of sight. I believe it’s poss...

4th permanent hit in a location

Any effect other than losing a die? I’m inclined to say the crew bails out.

One comment the pin handles are a little large, if all are set.

Old Hickory rules question

My group is about to start the Old Hickory Campaign. We are really looking forward to it but in our preparation we came across one issue that we wanted to ask about. It concerns the Air Power rule. According to our reading of the rules on turn one the Germans can only attack on Red 1 or Orange 1. So...

Re: Lard at Huzzah?

Well there are a number, but they are all full (except mine, as I put it in a week after the reg was open)
Sir John Downie's Gold (SP2)
Barkman's Corner Overdrive (WAT)
Clear the roadblock (CoC)
The Battle of Hannut (WAT)
Arras Counterattack (CoC)
Armoured Spearhead (WAT)

Not a bad showing.
