Re: Quar What a Tanker! battle report
Thanks. I've had more comments about the format than the games themselves. I'd enjoy seeing some others do that. I use Google Slides, using Slides Toolbox to initialize it with one slide per image. Then I edit, add some animations, etc. I won't watch many video battle reports, and this gives more co...

Re: Scenario Six - Attack on an Objective question
I originally thought this was a clever way to force the attacker to capture the objective in time, but all the above is pretty clear. There was a good way to force the attacker in some other scenario (I forget where) which made you do something before the defender could play two Chain of Command dic...

Quar What a Tanker! battle report
Here's a battle report from the 15mm Quar figures. I suppose you could think of them as an ImagiNation for WW1 era. I haven't specifically adjusted anything, but I'll mostly use lower values for Strike and Armour.

Resembles this conversation a bit:

And I think that one went a long time without people agreeing.

Re: Mortar minimum ranges....not saying we should change the rules
You could allow four 6s on command dice to break a rule instead of special event. Now define how you are allowed to break a rule.

Re: Multiple Phases
Is anyone who has their own approach likely to switch over to an "officially sanctioned alternative"? Just curious. If I decided there was a problem, I'd lean towards that, I think. I'm a bit curious whether TT's approach encourages maneuver. (This because of the question that comes up sometimes abo...

I was thinking this sounded familiar and looked for a similar thread. I found one, though it is not quite the same thing.

Re: Multi Targeting
As to your side note, you can pick a spot (before you roll) that could be designated, like: * go to the fence * get to the woods I think that would include: * join the rest of the squad You can stop at that spot, even if it it closer than what you rolled. You can't pick a spot in an open area that h...

Re: When is a unit pinned
It's actually the shooter's choice. The rulebook has this to say about using Command Dice to active units under section 4.2.1: The player may choose the order in which the dice are used and whether they are used in sequence - one at a time, with the results being applied after each one - or all tog...
