A few questions after my first games

Hello! I played my 2nd game against myself to learn the rules today. Next weekend, I am teaching the game to others and running it at a local convention in July. 1) When troops enter the table under Blinds (like in Mission Card Seven, for example), do they get to take their 4 actions right then? 2) ...

Re: side of building graphics

I'm having way too much trouble finding examples. Were they not that common? Have I only seen them on wargame tables?

This is the best I can find so far: http://www.pararesearchteam.com/2010/Si ... 02-002.jpg

Re: side of building graphics

Thanks! I've got decent photoshop skills, so I just need some images, and I can take it from there. Even some historical photos that show one of these "billboards", then I can re-create it.

I do want something historically accurate.

side of building graphics

I see some European buildings have ads - like a billboard but on the "blank" side of the building. Does anyone have a source for images? I can print and stick them to my 15mm buildings myself, but I've not found any good ones yet.

Re: Just Cause I'm Kinda Daft

I think, and I could be wrong, that the point of the CoC army lists is that those were the actual forces that fought. Making up your own force via a min-maxing app like EasyArmy.com or Army Builder is kind of against the Lardie way. (Please forgive me if I am misunderstanding what EasyArmy.com is.) ...

Meeples & Miniatures podcast - Unanimous #1 game of the year

In the latest Meeples & Miniatures podcast, Neil and his 2 guests go over their top 5 games of 2013. All 3 had Chain Of Command at #1. I first learned about Too Fat Lardies from the M&M podcast, from a 2011 episode I listened to in 2013. Richard was a guest, and his discussion of friction ma...

Re: Crescent Root Studios 15mm buildings

Thanks for the tip. It's a bit of a "first world" problem I have. I'm a wargamer, and I generally just buy what I want, when I want it. So, when Christmas and birthdays come around, I'm at a bit of a loss when people ask me what I want. Battlefront roads are on Amazon, and are otherwise ea...

Re: Crescent Root Studios 15mm buildings

Thanks!

I don't have any roads yet (I'll probably get the Battlefront cobblestone roads), so for that picture I printed out some roads on cardstock. The sidewalks, too.

Crescent Root makes some 20mm scale buildings. I have some of their 15mm building, and they are very nice.
