WW1 In Game Barrage Question

Used an in game barrage for the first time last night, want to make sure we are doing this correctly. As there were 2 jump off points within 18" of each other the barrage was allowed to target both. Then we laid out a coverage area 18" away from each of the jump off points (12" for the trenches). It...

SCW Platoon Headquarters Question

In many of the Spanish Civil War lists the Platoon Headquarters comes along with 1,2 or 3 rifles (runners). Do these runners come on as a separate team or can they come on with one of the senior leaders on their "4" roll?

Grenade Question

When throwing a hand grenade into a heavy cover trench what are the effects? Specifically:

Is there a penalty to try to hit the trench? (-2 or -4 from the to hit check)

If it succeeds do you count the effect as normal 2 hit or use confined space 3 hits test?

CoC Mud & Blood questions

Played out first game last night, had a couple of clarification questions. With gas in the preliminary bombardment we assessed the -1 command die in the first turn plus the -1 for all shooting. Do you do any of the shock testing that M&B does as well? In close combat there doesn't seem to be bonus d...

Xmas special 1918 campaign Question

can someone clarify for me it the support points to be used in the 1918 campaign should be added to any difference between the platoons support levels (in this case +7 to the British), or do you just assign the support points as written for each scenario?

thanks

Re: Big CoC Support Question

right, but a defender doesn't roll any dice in attack & defend scenario, only the attacker and they have 2 infantry platoons. Defender takes half the attackers roll. So a defender with a tank platoon gets full support, only an attacker with a tank platoon gets less, or if the defender against an att...

Re: Big CoC Support Question

So I found the answer to my question in the rules, who would have thought? It was in the example in the support section. We did it wrong and should only have taken the total halved of the single attacking infantry platoon. It does raise another question though. If the tank platoon had been on the de...

Re: Panzergrenadier force level

On the original official calculator posting you had +1 for leader armed with SMG, only riflemen armed with SMG were a +2? Can you perhaps update the original full posting of the calculator rules with any changes/additions since then and repost it?

Big CoC Support Question

We played our first Big CoC game using a tank platoon. Had a question on the support roll. The rules say each player, except a tank platoon if accompanied by an infantry platoon, roll for support. In the scenario we played, Attack & Defend, the tank/Infantry platoon attacked so they only rolled for ...
