Hi Len I was thinking along similar lines for the split - Maybe split 1943 in half to KISS? So 37-41 China and Manchuria 41- 43 HK, Malaya Burma Pt 1 Philippines etc. 43-45 - India, Burma pt 2 PNG , Island hopping? Not sure how Guadalcanal would fit in as it is early 43 - not a campaign I have read ...

Some good ideas there - and I agree most of it is suitable for possible inclusion in a campaign - though again the Victory conditions will need careful balancing to ensure the defenders have a chance (whether it is 1941 or 1944) I am still toying with some tactical rules - 2 or 3 for each force - bu...

Have not seen any for boats this big but I reckon you could modify the AFV rules to represent them.
JL, gunner 1, gunner 2, driver etc.
Give it hard cover.or armour 2 etc.
Maybe allow it to move 3D6 and still fire?
