Re: ADC Cards

Guys: Just a follow-up to the previous post. I did indeed locate that card editor app and was able to create some cards. Sample photo (hopefully) is attached. I keep getting a message saying the board attachment quota has been reached. If anyone is interested in a copy, PM me with your email addres...

Re: Infantry assault order

That’s a good point about the brigade needing to reorganize between assaults. Like you said - unless the defender rolls poorly with his defensive fire/charge resolution rolls, some of the attacking units will most likely will become unformed due to discipline tests and/or charge results. This, along...

Re: Infantry assault order

Hey guys: I appreciate the quick responses; and, can certainly understand the logic behind them. The French player had originally selected as his objective a Netherlands battalion that was located behind the front line on the hill, so he could charge the front line with the entire brigade, and keep ...

The Netherlanders still had a battalion on the hill, which had repulsed the French battalion charging it. The...

Re: ADC Cards

Thanks for the help guys - I will see if I can download that editor program and have a crack at making my own.

Regards,

Jim

ADC Cards

This is kind of a “hail Mary” post, it here goes. Awhile back I was thumbing through some blogs and I saw an instance where someone had made up cards for each of the ADC taskings. The top half of each card had a picture, as well as the name of the tasking; and, the bottom half of the card had an exp...

Quatre Bras - Kempt’s brigade skirmishers

I am setting out the troops for my refight of Quatre Bras for the upcoming Waterloo anniversary; and, have a question. The rules say that an extra skirmish stand is added to the brigade skirmish line for each company of 60th/95th rifles added to it. Since Kempt’s brigade contains a battalion of the ...

Re: Defending Support Unit

Since everything is happening simultaneously I think you played it correctly. With all the noise and confusion in a battle, field commanders didn’t have the level of communication with their subordinates to be able to change lines of march at a moment's notice. If you want to throw in the possibilit...
