Great idea Corvusboreus. I would just go a bit further and maintain the size of the mine field but break it into 2" circles packed 3x3 still giving the same size and then have the engineers remove x mines each turn where x depicts the number of men in the team. The RAW states you come on from where a road is present on your table edge and either on the road or between 4"and 9"dependent on troop quality. or then from anywhere on your table edge where no road is present.

I agree with TT. On a 2 you activate a section and it's JL. Here the JL can't use his CI's. On a 3 you activate a JL and his section and here the JL can use his CI's. If the JL chooses to use all his CI's on rallying the unit which is not activated does not mean you can activate the section on a 2 o...
