They paint directions on roads in Tasmania? Why not use signs?

TT you are a guy I’d want to drink beer with.
Nah.. he's a lightweight and gets maudlin. After the first few beers he turns the coat-hanger on himself.
As long as he stands his round he’s good with me

Re: Question - national characteristic and leader firing

Thanks TT. You’re right that any interpretation should be applied consistently. Reason for question on forum is that we didn’t agree. Of course as good mates and gaming buddies we had a quick debate, rule check, and cracked on with the game. Interesting that most responses are of the view that if th...

Re: Question - national characteristic and leader firing

Your best bet then is to not use the special rule a d fire the SMG as that adds 4 (3?) dice to your total rather than 2. Eithwr way its not a huge difference. De0ploying straight into close combat with hangranatan might have been a better option. There were a couple of US squads on overwatch behind...

Re: Question - national characteristic and leader firing

Thanks for chipping in with thoughts. I’ve continued to think about this. I’ve tried to imagine the situation (period not rules). My emerging view is that in the situation my JL and LMG were in, which was a squad of Americans just 20 odd yards away. I imagine that would be a frantic fearful laying d...

Question - national characteristic and leader firing

This came up in a TTS game this week. I deployed a JL with german squad team on a 3. On deployment the team was just under 6” from an American squad. Nice. I used the JL two command initiatives to activate the LMG team with machinegewehr. The rifle team couldn’t get line of sight so I left them inac...

Re: Visibility into building

Oh no!! I was determined not to be that guy who asks a rules question only to be told the answer is in the rules. And there it is s8.2.3..... thanks Truscott Trotter.

Visibility into building

In last game I deployed a Forward Observer in a building, a position which offered good liens of sight across the table. My opponent then wanted to fire on the observer in his phase. He had two squads 36” away that could see the building. I was certain I had read either in FAQ, errata, forum or CoC ...

Re: Operation Martlet replacement panzers

Agree re damage remaining. Likely that’d need mechanical support.
