As GDA works on bases 3, 4, and 5 bases, the number of figures is perhaps irrelevant apart from looking good! I use 40x25mm bases with 3 cavalry figures per base, thus a standard regiment is 12 figures.
where in the rules does it refer to this please

Re: Number of Bases

I have decided for my 6mm troops, 20x15 for all troops, inf 4 fig/base 6 bases/unit, cav 3fig/base 4 bases/unit. I am in possession of a 3D printer so I have printed out sabot bases for all the formations required. each sabot base cost no more than £0.07ea

Re: Risk to Generals

I have a couple of points, there seems to be a lot of negative effects and I wonder if this will just stop generals being attached. Do the benefits outweigh the negeatives. If a general takes a hit, would this reduce casualtys by one on the unit. Maybe a test to see if he is hit first before rolling...

Re: Leaders issuing commands through terrain

As long as said SL or JL, is vulnerable to being a casualty then it's fine. shouting over a wall telling a load of blokes to run across open ground, confidence it does not install if the leader is immune. The problem is I don't you can abstract by saying we assume there are runners etc and there bei...

Re: Starting in CoC, looking for help on 15mm vs 20mm

I use 20mm as it's stuff I have had a while, if I were to start again, i would more likely chose 15mm or possibley 10mm. This is due to storage and transporting to the club.

Re: Russian naval troops

Thanks for the replies, I bought the figures about 20yrs ago as a rapid fire battalion used them once, never played the rules again and have been in the loft since. As I have been given a 3D printer, vehicles and terrain are now so cheap so it's worth doing as a project.
