Re: Attacking a bua
The defender can use supports if the supports are within 5cm of the BUA, normal support rules apply.

Re: Faltering brigades in GdA2
Hi Nik
No that's a good enough explanation, which does not differ from the V1 topic I had, except now as you stated the CinC giving one brigade in the game to act as normal
Cheers

Re: Faltering brigades in GdA2
What exactly does it mean to " act as normal"? As I remember asking this exact question in version 1 and my god, didn't everyone pile on by telling me that normal means the brigade cannot move as they have just rallied, others like myself thought normal was " they can move and so on&q...

Re: Large Unit
Still large.
Remember that DB has said, that casualties just don't akways represent kills, they also represent a units dwindling moral, during a game.

Re: Cavalry brigade morale
I've used a house rule.
When the cavalry brigade loses 1 cav unit, then once the remaining cav unit loses 50% casualties then the brigade is then deemed demoralised.

Re: The 2nd Edition Update 3
Bloody exciting, the mere fact of coming up with a rule set in where you can no longer know that an enemy unit is on minuses before you go and attack them is as you have suggested DB, gives a full flavoured wargame with apprehension. Brilliant.

There's nothing to charge, they would just march in and occupy it.

Re: To Charge or Not to Charge
I like Zabarrs idea of 1 cav unit charges only unless the brigade is in receipt of an ADC.

Re: The 2nd Edition: General d'Armee
Hi DB Am I right in saying that it is now going to be more harder to attack a BUA if only one battalion can charge per brigade. Hope so as sometimes the fight fir a BUA swaps hands to quickly in games and going by the video JP uploaded the fighting seemed messy.....perfectly showing how it should be...
