Re: Cromwell with camouflage netting

Followed your posts on twitter - it is lovely - you've come up with an excellent technique and finished it very well! Looks stunning!

Starting in 6mm (WW2)

Having been swayed (indirectly!) by various online personalities I have decided to plunge into 6mm IABSM. Got the first batch of troops from Baccus a wee while ago and finally got some time to start working on them. Still a work in progress, but so far they are nowhere near as tricky as I first imag...

Re: CoC 28mm Panzer IV

Lovely work, as always, and an even better introduction to the work! Gave me a chuckle on a tired Wednesday morning. Me being tired rather than the morning itself.

Re: Modern COC

In the 2014 Summer Special there is an article on "Big CoC in Africa" which I believe covers more modern equipment and could fit quite well with your cold war period. It may well need some tweaking to get exactly what you are looking for but is probably worth a look. They got all their info on rules...

Re: Advice on making 15mm ww2 scenery

Hello Dave, Not strictly any help on how to build for 15mm but I found this article quite useful for getting some ideas of suppliers. https://themodelwarrior.wordpress.com/2015/07/07/15mm-ww2-terrain-review/ there are also some tutorials on various builds. Also a few good posts here: https://dereksw...

Very nice idea, and well executed as per usual! Always interesting to see what you will come up with next. I have to say you are an excellent source of ideas and inspiration. Thank you!

Re: (CoC) 5 Platoon: Breaking Through to Frost at Arnhem (Updated 20 May 19)

Nice write up - I really felt for your Pak throwing shots at the jeep to no effect! On a side note from your overhead shots at the start it looked like the paras got a JOP further up on their left (in the wooded area) than looks possible from the triangle generated from what appear to be the closest...

Re: House rules for double moves and single sixes.

It seems to me that your mechanism comes down to who rolls more sixes gets to have more double phases and do more with them, at a time of their choosing. I don't see how this solves the issue - if one person is rolling more sixes then they are going to have more command tokens and therefore more ini...

Re: 29 Let's Go campaign

Game 5 of our 29 Let's Go campaign, a rather strange one for me. https://nottherivercottage.blogspot.com/2019/05/29-lets-go-game-5-flanking-st-germain.html Hopefully one that I will learn a lot from, and more importantly make the necessary changes in future! https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OeabBAGkRJk/XN...
