Who does 28mm WWII Allies in winter gear?

I've been progressively building up a good force of 28mm Germans in winter gear but have not found many examples of British or American troops in winter gear. Any recommendations? And any explanation for the (apparent) difference in availability?

Re: Confused by recon rules

The player using the recon unit rolls one dice and the other player rolls a dice. If the recon score is the highest then recon was successful and any units in ambush are deployed or any CP removed. If your recon unit has two or more sections we play it that you can roll one extra dice so you have t...

Re: Block Houses in Spain

My understanding is that these were small forts that the French used along their lines of communication, and my sense is they are similar to some of the North American blockhouses of the colonial period (wooden with an earth glacis). Re: Chain of Command, "All American" Campaign AAR

Thanks for sharing DP - a great looking gaming table and good AARs. That third game looked particularly bloody for the Germans, but a good comeback in the fourth (and some great photos).

They look excellent - I like your purple-clad Mysoreans. Would love to know if you have any rocket troops and elephants? Would imagine they'd make great little vignettes.

Re: 6mm terrain for "0" Group

Beautiful work John. What are your BAUs based on? They look just right, esp. in terms of thickness. I wonder though if your factory base should have had less grass, though it works for this more rural setting. Overall this approach really looks like it will give you great flexibility in building a t...

Re: No tanks or big guns

Dbsubashi has just provided one of the best outlines of why CoC is such a rewarding game to play and so popular amongst its fans. It does the basics brilliantly, with relatively simple game mechanics that quickly become second nature and allow the players to immerse themselves in playing the period.

Another great account and agree with the cinematic quality of both the game and the AAR. Your games beautifully reflect the diversity of scenarios and game play that the PSCs support. Who'd have thought we'd see this kind of mad dash in an Attack & Defend game!
