Re: Skirmish query

Hi DB etc Must confess totally confused by Skirmish Priority section. As I read it it means Skirmshers shoot at any (ie all?) targets in arc and them split casualties as appropriate. However the rule at top of pg 70 clearly states that Skirmishers MAY fire at multiple targets as player wishes. That ...

Re: Another query

Hi John

Thanks again for prompt reply

Skylining and emerging from smoke seem reasonable

Still not sure ref the Spotting rules to be honest as not clearly spelt out.

And yes we now have a number of 'house' rulings to cover some of the ambiguities we have encountered :-)

Re: Another query

Hi Revisting the Spotting query (yet again) i now read under spotting rules that it clearly says spotting ONLY occurs vs Blinds or areas of terrain that may hide units ?? Am once again unclear that units can be deployed but Unspotted as the covering terrain is surely just another form of blind ? Aga...

Hi John Yes I get what you are saying and essentially agree (and is how we had been playing) its just that the wording of 2.1.1 threw some mud in my eyes and I still confess that I really don't know what this sentence is telling me ? "If the unit wishes to open fire and has not used any of its Actio...

Re: Another query

Re 2.1.1 I see what you are saying but again I understand this in contrary fashion :-) I thought this covered Blinds that maybe are Spotted before their Blinds card appears (and before their unit card goes into deck) in that despite being on table they still get the 4 actions of a Blind despite unit...

Re: Another query

Hi John Hmmm my reading is different. From pg 22- "Blinds operate with four Actions which they may use to Move and Spot in any order desired. If the unit wishes to open fire and has not used any of its Actions it is placed on the table, at no cost in Actions, and may then fire as normal......" The 2...
