And in any event, I wonder what colour would your cherished waffenfarbe be after a few good downpours, a few washes before the advent of really colourfast dyes and a good daily soaking with sweat? Obviously in that situation you would distinguish by smell, rather than colour, as alternative environ...

I've not permanently lost any, but couldn't access them some to a computer glitch. Luckily, I'd saved the email that the download was attached to and was able to access that.
