Re: Kharkov 1942 campaign queries
I have similar issues in my Winter War campaign. I ended up Coculating values for the tank platoons in the normal manner, as in Big CoC. If you don't do it, the results will be sub-optimal for sure.

Fire in the Sky – Game One
http://www.saunalahti.fi/~ejuhola/7.62/chainofcommand/WoNS_1-2/WoNS_1-2.gif The sky in the south is blood red, a gigantic sheet of tree-silhouetting crimson stretching from the south-east all the way to the south-west and rising up to the heavens where it mingles with the stars. It is the glow of h...

Re: Panzer iii ausf e
The ausf D, E and F models were all in use in 1940, though not in huge numbers, the 3rd and 4th Pz Divisions had about 40 each (about 15% of the total tank strength of the division). The two latter types are difficult to distinguish from each other. Steven Zaloga has written a book on their use in t...

Re: Chain of Command FFL Campaign
This is simply brilliant! Well done! The plotline is engaging and obviously you have found a way to depict these battles in CoC. Nice!
Are you using standard Bad Things Happen tables and force morale generation or have you created something special for the Berbers?

Re: US Cavalry Recon Platoon
I ran into similar difficulties with the 1941 German Panzergrenadier platoon, with 1x Sd.Kfz 251/10 + 3x Sd.Kfz 251/1. There are basically three ways of doing this, either it is as you've set out 2 LMG squads + support, OR it is a platoon of three M8 armored cars (use Big Chain of Command to figure ...

Re: Soviet Paratroopers?
Leroy Thompson's "Unfulfilled Promise: The Soviet Airborne Forces, 1928-1945" does not go into detail about TOE but states that the 1941 Airborne Infantry Company had "100-120" men and that a Guards Airborne Infantry Company of 1943 had 90-100 men. But it does give some useful support option informa...

Re: Soviet Paratroopers?
I have an unattributed TOE listing which I've downloaded from somewhere in 2016: Soviet Parachute Rifle Company 1941-1942 Company command group: 3 officers with SMG 2 NCOs with SMG 2 RFN (not sure what these are, radio crew or messengers likely) Fire Support Platoon: 1 Officer with SMG 4 mortar team...
