We are planning a game on Guadalcanal tomorrow and when I look through my partner's US Army lists, there are no Anti Tank assets apart from a 50 cal, so no ATGs, no Armour, is that an ommission?

Re: Burma Retreat 1942

Both of those relate to Malaya and Singapore but unfortunately don't take into account the 7th Armoured Brigade units in the Burma retreat or for that matter the Java defence where Light Tanks Mk VIs fought.. There's a list here http://toofatlardies.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/British-Far-...

Burma Retreat 1942

Our group is looking at getting ahead of the Far East book and having a Big CoC game at the end of this month. Those of us who run Allies are looking at Brits, Aussies and USMC as we are taking the time line up to Guadalcanal. One of the lists that seems to be lacking is that of the Brits as they wi...

OK, marching fire not applicable in dense terrain or only applicable in Open or Light cover?

Wouldn't have thought Marching fire would be used in the Jungle much?

OK, so Scout and Marching Fire (only applied to M1 Garands not the Springfield 1903).

Re: WW2 CHINESE NATIONALISTS IN 28mm

Yep, I dipped my toe in for a weak platoon, org is still unclear but I am also planning to print a few AFVs which I will likely field as Green. Having read Burma Road recently, one thing that may be necessary is to roll dice for support options to appear as the CKS leading the Kuomintang was relucta...

Re: Plans to add the U.S. Marines?

Do US National Characteristics apply to USMC as well? Marching Fire, re-roll ones for Garands and Scouts?

If so, does the M1903 get the re-roll as well or not because it is a bolt action weapon?

Re: New CoC handbook Question

WSS 113 has some articles in that might help you. They are Norwegian theatre rather than Norwegian forces IIRC.

USMC Platoon board

Has anyone done a USMC platoon sheet like the recent Brit Para one on the Chain of Command FB page? I'm looking at doing a D series force and want the layout.

Re: US airborne campaign

You can always use US Paras as regular Glider infantry, their equipment was similar and the weaponry perhaps better. I've almost finished reading Airborne where they fought side by side at times.
