Re: recommended figures

Thanks everyone. I think I might be leaning towards either warlord or victrix since they are affordable and come in sets with a variety. All the 15/18s I see come in packs of one variety so I will need three packs of 24 or 30 Gauls and I'll end up spending just as much but have a lot of left over le...

recommended figures

I am really excited about these rules as I've always had a facination with Gauls and Celts before they were pushed to the porifory. I've ordered the rules and am waiting excitingly but I've never paited ancients before. Does anyone have any recommendations on figures? I usually do 15/18's for SP2 an...

Re: Japanese Minis

Eureka are great but on the small side, as are command decision. Both have a nice variety too. Battlefront are really nice, slightly larger, in great poses and a nice variety of charging and shooting. When I got them they were a bit pricey for a platoon compared to other battlefront of similar sizes...

Great job Ed!

I'm looking forward to Little Wars and getting to play Lardie games all weekend. All the games sound interesting.

Re: CoC Blitzkrieg game part deux

Don, thanks for the advice. I didn't plan on doing the whole campaign because of time constraints, but you're right. However, the first two close combats were Senegalese deploying in close combat to protect their deployment point. Now I know to be wary within 10" of a deployment point. My Germans ga...

CoC Blitzkrieg game part deux

I wrapped up my game over the weekend. Here's turn 2 till the conclusion. Either side could have won. Literally down to the last phase.

Re: Head Quarters Riflemen

For simplicity maybe use them like the French VB team without a junior leader.

Re: CoC Blitzkrieg game

Haha, nice. I'm from the states and had to look up those references. Was he as bad as he looks? TT: yes, actually I have the Peter Pig motorized, a full motorcycle platoon actually, but all dismounted. Btw, did Motorized troops, dragoon portes, or chasseurs wear the motorcycle helmet? Or the Adrian?...

Re: CoC Blitzkrieg game

Haha, thanks for the compliments. I like exotic unique projects and I like aggressive troops. I have them in helmets because that's all I could find in 15mm. I will have a whole company plus supports for Big CoC. I need to get motorcycles for my motorcycle platoon, but only I can find are battlefron...

CoC Blitzkrieg game

Over the holiday I decided to get my feet wet with the Blitzkrieg supplement and begin to prep for Little Wars in April. Here's an AAR for turn 1 on my blog. https://jimsminiaturewargaming.blogspot.com/2020/01/coc-blitzkrieg-part-1.html?m=1 I will post turn 2 in the near future as it looks to be bri...
