Re: Capturing Caesars Camp - New PSC

Not quite. If the Brits lose scenario 2 that simply don’t fight it again and push on. For the ‘Sharp End’ calculations it would count as a loss. They also lose any opportunity to call on French Armoured Support for game 4. Tactically this means that flank is open but in the scheme of the PSC the th...

Re: Capturing Caesars Camp - New PSC

Clearly reducing the German morale to 4 or less IS mentioned. You are correct, my apologies. That makes 2 sets of victory conditions (campaign wise) and another implied. :? :? :? :? :? :? So, if I have this right in the first game: The germans lose and withdraw if they win with a force moral of 4 o...

Re: Capturing Caesars Camp - New PSC

“Except reducing the German morale to 4 but we won’t go there” 🤔 Why? What’s the issue there? We’ll play it as the Brits can win by either reducing the German Moral to 4 ...... I will paraphrase the scenario victory conditions rather than quoting them if I may: The losing player must withdraw from ...

Re: Capturing Caesars Camp - New PSC

t’s the unwritten ‘don’t be a dick rule’!!!! FFS, if that’s the case every game can be a draw if you simply refuse to deploy and just give up your JOPs. Seriously haha. I always find childish name calling extremely funny. I guess I am immune to it being an ex teacher. But seriously, if you look at ...

Re: Capturing Caesars Camp - New PSC

If the Germans simply sit back in a corner as you suggest and permit their JOPs to be captured then by default they lose Where does it say that they lose by default? Besides, if you can not put at least 2 of the JoP on the baseline in the woods then you have really messed up the patrol phase. I f t...

Re: Capturing Caesars Camp - New PSC

I also pondered long and hard over over scenario 3. Taking the scenario specific victory conditions as written it is no longer even attempting to be a BK based scenario and could be a very boring game. All the german need do is set up in the rear corner of the wood and wait for the british on overwa...

Re: Fanatics

The Supra Numerum card should be in the deck from the beginning! Don I thought it was OK to leave it out Initially so as not to signal that there was a unit of Fanatics about! Though that would likely be a pretty open secret. :) John Troble is with that you would lose the flexability of launching a...

Re: Vercingetorix’s Army Question

RE fanatics and mobs.
The mob is an ambush point (for fanatics) and aren't ambush deployment points 'shut down' if an enemy unit is with 4"? (no rule book with me at mo).
If so then engaging in close combat would be within 4" and it would be inactive and unusable by the fanatics.
