Re: GDA2

I think I am saying that maybe there is a little too much complexity to some of the mechanics!

Re: GDA2

I should say the review by Chasseur is first rate and although I do not agree with all his points, I do agree that the game needs to be quicker. I have played maybe 7-8 games and not finished one. Every PC game I have played has come to an end.

Re: GDA2

Well, I have not played a lot of games and nothing since the pandemic started. I Have played quite a bit of PC as well and I do like the streamed lined charge/melee In that rule set. So maybe I agree with option B, but I have not played as much as those commenting above. Generally, I am not averse t...

Re: 6mm O Group

15mm, I also played on a terrain 72x48 cm. I just did a straight conversion of everything. I think though that the terrain was a little small, so I am planning my next game on a 24x48” terrain. That will certainly give much more space.

wow, I just had a look at your kickstarter, amazing amount of info and the painting guides are just incredible.

I have my ACW and Napoleonics in other scales so I will not be a taker here but if you go the WWII route with another kickstarter, I will be first in line.

Re: 3D Printable 6-18mm Napoleonics

It is interesting to read your message and I did watch your video. I recently started a project in 6mm for the WWII ruleset "O" Group. I had already been print vehicles and buildings with fairly good success by scaling down 20 and 15mm models. I had absolutely no success with figures though. I bough...

Re: advice please. De Brigade or D'Armee for new player???

I agree with John, I have played limited GdB but a fair amount of GdA and GdA is a great game. I have also played quite a bit of BP, not really my cup of tea, it is not that nuanced but a lot of people enjoy playing it.

Re: Boycot of TMP

Funny how this has all come up again. I think I probably signed up as paying member of TMP about 15 years ago. I was starting off wargaming with Napoleonics and there were many quite helpful people on the site. As the years went by, I found their Marketplace quite useful to buy and sell things. When...

Re: 6mm terrain for "0" Group

Capt Fortier: Thanks for your kind words, the BUA bases are 2 mm mdf. I agree that the factory base should have maybe less grass but I have been treating this base as an abandoned destroyed factory so I felt grass would be OK. As you can see from the close ups the buildings are a little rough, as I...
