I really enjoyed this project. You can see more photos, as well as the ...

Re: High Stone Walls and Firing

So how did you play it Seret, in respect to the walls (firing/target) and the Schlepper. I remember you took one.

Re: High Stone Walls and Firing

Thanks John, that sounds pretty straight forward in respect to walls. It is a little bit map dependent in how you would indicate whether the troops can target or be a target. I think in games terms if the base is touching the wall they have we can presume they are target quality. I do not have a pro...

High Stone Walls and Firing

Hi, Hopefully a much less complex question than the one about snipers and opentop AVF's. Scenario 5 in Von Luck has a lot of high stone walls so a couple of questions about firing and LOS. Can a unit next to a high stone wall fire at a target in LOS (this seems a little different than bocage but may...

Re: More Sniper Questions

Thanks guys, an interesting discussion. I have to keep reminding myself that there is a difference between a projectile launched from an ATR and a rifle grenade. I just did a google search and could find no evidence that a Paratroop section carried rifle grenades or ATR. They did carry a lot of gren...

Re: More Sniper Questions

i am not sure if paratroopers were armed with rifle grenades, it does not list them in the campaign. Intersting otherwise, but with my rolling a 12 on 2d6 is neer on impossible. I agree it might be pretty hard to run up and toss one in especially where the SPG is on the other side of the terrain. Al...

Re: More Sniper Questions

Well TT and Seret, you will be happy to hear you have been proven correct. Rich's Reply: Snipers can target a man operating a weapon on the top of the AFV. So like an MG on a halftrack. They can't target crew who are operating the AFV weapon from inside a fighting compartment. So, they can't target ...

Re: More Sniper Questions

Seret: Well, if you're only interested in what the rules say then TT has already quoted the relevant section of the rules. No, you cannot target any crew or passengers in an AFV. That's what the rules say. Snipers can pick off a man who's firing a top MG, but that's it. OK, I never have a problem s...
