Re: New publication coming next Spring - perfect for KMH

I am told that the 74 Bellerophon measures 54mm from stern to bow - which I guess makes them fairly small although what the scale is I don't know. Something like the Langton ships I fancy but a great deal cheaper to buy and minutes to make rather not hours. The images can be scanned or copied howeve...

New publication coming next Spring - perfect for KMH

Hope it is ok to share this............

All ships from both sides at Trafalgar - so lots of ships which can be used in KMH scenarios.

Re: Platoon Forward with Chain of Command.

Yes I take your points which are well made. A compromise would perhaps be to have a description which clarifies the differences between apparently overlapping publications?

Re: Platoon Forward with Chain of Command.

Interesting this topic.......LEGO retire sets when replaced by newer versions. It is a tad confusing to have rules sets in the TFL shop which to a large extent have been superceded - Platoon Forward is a good case in point as ATSE has most definitely replaced it. Troop Weapons and Tactics doesn't se...

Re: Sharp Tutorial

Thanks for the link Archie - together with the 'official' videos I should be able to get my head round it now! I've just watched all eight tutorials and would like to say a big thank you to Rob Jones for his efforts - well done that man. I was going to post on youtube Rob but didn't want to register...

Re: Why change the period?

I agree with both replies - we are all free to do what we want with our games and our rules - but why ask the rule writer for advice about changing the rules which were not written for whatever change is in mind?

Just do it.

Why change the period?

It does amuse and also annoy me - as soon as a new set of rules is published some gamers start posting - can they be adapted to an earlier period? - can they be adapted to a later period? His Lordship had good reasons for writing the rules within the time frame. Having said that, He Who Should Be Ob...
