Bringing the Great War to life with an exciting and fast paced game, these rules are packed with historical information and character that give the feel of the Great War in an historically plausible manner whilst still retaining the enjoyability factor.

The rules are comprehensive, covering the full period of 1914 to 1918. The main rules concentrate on the Western Front, and new supplements will extend this to other theatres around the globe. Card driven with one figures representing one man, Mud & Blood are designed for large scale skirmish games of between 30 and 120 figures per side. The system rewards gamers who use historically correct tactics, and to assist in that has an extensive section on the tactics of the various nations, as well as full details of developments in infantry and artillery tactics throughout the war.
