1:300 ships

Post by cstoesen » Fri Jul 13, 2018 9:18 pm

I have been tinkering with using Kiss Me Hardy for actions below the rate. I found some nice miniatures from Sea Dog Studios and Warartisan. I also picked up some Langton miniatures for the really small stuff. I have been working on the Sailed Launch, a Yawl and a British Gunboat.

I posted some notes on the Langton ones here: http://cstoesen.blogspot.com/2018/07/sm ... hardy.html

This is the results so far.

Interesting. Hadn't considered going up in scale for the really small boats. Probably also useful for mediterranean actions involving gunboats, xebecs and Algerian galleys and the like. 1/1200 small boats are comically small, like you need tweezers!
