Lard Dice

Post by Chaingun » Mon Apr 16, 2018 5:49 pm

I was just watching the What a Tanker video on YouTube put on by toofatlardies and a very good video it is.

My question is, where can I get hold of the TFL logo dice the guys were using?

They were sold by TFL years ago. I'm guessing Rich decided that they weren't a good enough seller to keep them in stock.

They were not selling to the older generation but they are gone now. There is a new generation of Lard players on the rise and we want!!

They are sodding expensive to produce. I remember that when we had a 20% sale we actually lost money on them. Now we are VAT registered, we'd have to charge even more to cover the joys of a 20% sales tax.

We are just going through a hugely expensive restock of loads of rule sets which just soaks up any working capital. But I'll look at it. They are lovely dice.

Perhaps you could do an inhouse lardie kickstarter?

Get people to preorder sets of dice to gauge interest and see if it is financially viable to commission a run?

More like an insteppassstarter rather than a kickstarter? 😉
