Yep, have done that already with the Frenchies, where most regiments have two or three identically dressed battalions. More tricky with the Brits where I intentionally painted each of the regiments with a different facing colour to distinguish them :-)

Hi.
I am going to have my first game on Monday with 6mm figures on 3cm to 1.5 cm bases for foot. So I would like to ask what is the equivalent for the 6 to 4 table if using 6mm and use the inches in brackets converted in cm for move and fire

Well in that case you will be using a 9cm move for infantry rather than 15cm, so everything could be reduced to 60% of the original. So a 6'x4' table would become 3'7"x2'5" or say 4'x3' (1.2x0.9m). I reckon more depth is always better for GdA so I'd go with 4'x4' myself if there's space.

I play my 28mm games on a 9x5 table tennis table.
I agree an extra foot of depth would be ideal.
