Broken Units Question

Post by Matt1066 » Tue Mar 24, 2020 8:12 am

If a unit that has broken and run the required 6+2D6” and rolled for BTH, is subsequently shot at (having not rallied any shock off yet) and gains another point of shock, does it break and run another 6+2D6” and trigger another BTH roll?
Thanks, Matt

No, a broken unit doesn't break again.
Use the Consolidated Arsenal! It's here:

Nope is correct, only one break test, but if the turn ends before sufficient shock is reduced they then rout and have to roll another BTH test.

Personally I think another retreat move may be appropriate but RAW they halt.

Just to be clear, the turn end only causes another BTH roll if there is a leader with broken unit when it is removed from the table. If there's no leader present, there's no further hit to your Force Morale (the silver lining of most MMG/HMG teams not having leaders).

True and you can detach leaders, thats why I like to keep a CoC die up my sleeve to end the turn immediately I break an enemy unit.😈

Or you can get lucky like me, and roll three sixes in the immediate next phase :)

Doug you know triple sixes are reserved for the first phase of a game.....where you have chosen a PGB or Stukas

I didn't do it in the first turn. I never have, but I did roll triple six twice in that last game. We haven't used Stukas yet, so maybe I'm saving it up for when we do.
