Hi all
I'm going to be jumping into WaT as my 8 year old is really into Tanks at the moment, fuelled by his playing War Thunder on the pc (plus I love wargaming & tanks also!).
One question though - which companies are best to use for 15mm miniatures? I like the look of Flames of War's models but most come in minimum of packs of 3 which I don't need. I've come across Plastic Soldier Company and Skytrex in my google searches - is the quality of theirs comparable to Flames of War?
Thanks in advance
Mark

PSC models are fine, and you can buy them as single sprues if that's what you want. They go together pretty well. You can get most of the instructions online.

I use QRF 15mm, they have a good range, are cheaper than most and do the job! I also have some Peter Pig ones!
Re: What Miniatures to use?
Zvezda also do some very nice 15mm (1:100) plastic models. QRF have a wide range, https://quickreactionforce.co.uk/produc ... 1939-1945/, Peter Pig has some metal and resin tanks in their range too if you prefer metal. Forged in Battle also does 15m vehicles. If I had to choose, Zvezda, PSC, Flames of War, FiB in that order. Though these days I 3d print mine.
If you want something very unusual, then Butlers Printed Models have a pretty diverse range. In the past I have seen some examples that have pretty obvious printing ridges, although they seem to be getting better.

Thanks all for your replies and input. After all this I've decided to go 1/72 as I fancy expanding out to CoC at 20mm in the near future. Ordered my rules this week and have some cheapy Italeri Fast Assembly kits on the way!

Good choice! Once you have some 20mm forces assembled they’ll also be good for O Group, which seems to work fine in that scale. I’m currently playing through my first game using two figures on a sabot base per section.
