Big games with Q13

Post by jay arnold » Wed Oct 23, 2013 4:35 pm

Anyone have experience with running multi-company or battalion games using Quadrant 13? I'm considering running a game for 6 to 8 players and am wondering what considerations I need to make.

Do this many units slow the game down?

Do I need to make significant changes?

Staying ahead of the cards as much as possible will help. Look ahead and if the next card doesn't interfere with the current player, play it and let them go at the same time. Multi-base the figures so moving doesn't take up all the time.

Same approach you would use running a large IABSM game & an umpire who will drive the game forward and discourage dithering such as Robert, or Richard also helps a lot.

I think so / play it and let them go at the same time
