Tanker table queries
Along with the Stug F/8 (Stug F/8 Height: 2.15m- 2.16 m (7 ft 1 in)) query already answered I was wondering if the following should have low profile and whether this effects their points ?
Hetzer Height 2.17 m (7 ft 1 in)
Panzerjäger I Height 2.14 m (7 ft)
I am assuming Low profile kicks in around 7'?as the Archer is Height 7 ft 4 in (2.25 m)?
Hetzer Height 2.17 m (7 ft 1 in)
Panzerjäger I Height 2.14 m (7 ft)
I am assuming Low profile kicks in around 7'?as the Archer is Height 7 ft 4 in (2.25 m)?
Re: Tanker table queries
I've always thought "low profile" to be an art rather than a science. Hetzer? The essence of low profile. SImple to camouflage. Panzer Jager I? All jagged and easy to spot.

Re: Tanker table queries
Well neither are LP in the table
Re: Tanker table queries
I believe there's a discussion on the CoC forum that states the limit for 'Low Profile' is whatever height the Panzerjager 38(t) (AKA Hetzer) is... About 7'. It's not actually a small vehicle, it just looks it. I'd say the important thing is it has to be primarily flat, or at least all in one lump. The PzJg I 'sticks up' and breaks up the shape in a manner the StuG, for instance, doesn't.

Re: Tanker table queries
Not my understanding
I assume low profile simple means less of a target when behind things like low walls and hedges.
Afterall most shots are to front not side

Re: Tanker table queries
If so the lists are inconsistent. By my interpretation they're fairly consistent (barring acknowledged anomalies like the StuG III F8).

Re: Tanker table queries
So how does the Hetzer fit into your theory?
Re: Tanker table queries
The Hetzer is small, so already harder to hit. It doesn't need to be low profile as well!

Re: Tanker table queries
So no vehicles should be small AND low profile?
Then why have both characteristics?
C'mon guys

The Semovente 47/32 and a couple of the Japanese vehicles are small and low profile.
