All this talk of whether it should be Vittoria, or 1809 Danube campaign, or something in 1813 or the 1814 defence of Paris campaign is befuddling Dave
How could one possibly choose - the obvious answer is that you'll just have to do the lot  and of course all in time for yesterday :D

Just make those WWII fanboys wait for their rules - they can always play FOW in the interim :o
I've just set up the Ligny St Amand scenario on the table

What's wrong with doing a mixed scenario book and just doing the bigger battles over the years bith in Europe and Spain

B,

Absolutely nothing wrong with that idea, however at the moment I'm opting for linked scenarios for the next campaign supplement and in future this might lend itself to a form of ladder campaign.

Sounds like very exciting stuff DB, I think if one could find anything at all to grumble about with the first supplement, it’s that it is ‘just’ a set of scenarios not a ‘campaign’ book. Nothing wrong with that, however I think the progression you describe above will add even more reason to buy into future pdfs- I’m already looking forward to see what you come up with.

I have a surprise day off this Thursday where my time will be my own! I hope to finish the Scots Greys I started around the same time as I got engaged- literally every spare minute is filled with wedding plans 😂 I have done no gaming/no painting/no scenery making, how naive!

We’re playing the Gilly scenario next week and I've noticed that Napoleon is rated as Incomparable with 5 ADCs.

But, the French force has 5 Brigades (Excluding the Artillery) which should mean that the French have 6ADCs, 5 for the brigades and one for Napoleon being incomparable!?

Am I reading this wrong? Should I be reading this as the French have 5 ADCs plus Napoleons bonus, or is the scenarios restricting Napoleon but leaving his extended command radius?

We played it as written, the French have 5 ADC's.

N,

In the French order of battle you'll note that the Empress Dragoons under Latort are a single unit brigade.

All brigades are required to have a minimum of 2 units, thus Napoleon's Empress Dragoon escort "brigade" does not qualify for an ADC.
