Guareña River - July 1812 Peninsular Scenario

Post by bvera » Wed Dec 20, 2017 6:27 pm

For those interested, I wrote a small contribution for the Xmas Special just released, in the form of a scenario for General d'Armee
It's based on a small battle that took place a couple of days before Salamanca when the Allied Army was retreating towards the city from the banks of the Duoro River

I hope you like it and please feel free to give me your comments
I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Xmas and 2108

well better late than never. We played the extended version of this scenario on the weekend. The British left flank was under pressure from a mass of French infantry and skirmishers and had to refuse its flank. On the right flank, the sole French dragoon brigade was under pressure from the KGL Hussars and 14th LD, with the three British dragoon regts starting to press the left of the French infantry. An honourable draw was called, but an interesting scenario.
