Additional terrain in scenarios

Post by EQUITES »

Hi guys,
in the supplements there is the following sentence :
"For all scenarios, we recommend that a number if small fields, areas of rough ground, small wooded copses and low rises should be placed randomly on the table to better reflect the vagaries of ground in reality."

I wonder if you add additional small terrains and , if yes, which method you use for randomize type and position.

Personally I like to add them for avoiding the "pool table" effect but the feeling is to slow down the attacker and altering the scenario considering the limited amount of turns for achieving the mission objectives.

Hi Michele,
Stand with your back to the table, close your eyes and throw them over your shoulder. Where they fall is where they are placed. 😊

Just kidding. I don’t use a system and just scatter a few randomly to add colour and texture but hopefully not in a way that interferes with the game objectives. Keeping them small helps.
