Hey gang,

I have a given squad that falls to 0 actions do to casualties,
what’s happens to that squad? Do they fall back or rout?

They remain in place trying to make themselves as small a target as possible since they have no actions. They can serve as a minor roadblock as the enemy will either need to engage them to winkle them out by forcing their surrender or bypass them.
Some players prefer to just remove them if they will play no further part in the game.
