Russian Tanks

Postby James Manto » Fri Apr 21, 2017 2:32 pm

I'm getting all Soviet thanks to some discounted infantry. And my early war Panzers have been languising in the box for a few years.

For Barbarossa battles I'm going to get a mix of BT-7s and T-26s (half a dozen of each, they can handle my Light Panzer Kompanie I think). But I think the artillery support tanks are just too cute to pass on. Anyone know if the T-26A was ever actually used or was it just the BT-7A?

No from Wiki
But on 19 September 1934 an incident with a T-26-4 took place: a blow-back because of shell case destruction during gun fire. Despite the fact that this defect was unrelated to turret design, the military representatives cancelled the order to produce the T-26-4.

I would stick with the BT-7A
