It does not specify - but it does specify 4 patrol markers in most cases and 3 in one case
So I would say the standard 3 bearing in mind the Brits can have a keep

G'day gentlefolk:

Quick question, how does one know how many Jump-off Points are required in each of the scenarios in the 1940 Handbook? It's probably blindingly obvious but I couldn't see any reference in the book.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers
It's been confirmed previously that is is 3 JOPs from 4 Patrol Markers as is usual in most CoC scenarios, any additional JOP would be specified.

Should Schutzen troops have a Red Dice as a support option?

Yes, it's omission was an oversight.

While we're on the topic of Schutzen should they be able to draw support from the ACs of the Aufklarungs Bn?

You mean without paying the +1?

Yes, I had forgotten about the +1 rule when using other lists. I just assumed since they're an important part of a panzer division, there shouldn't have to be a penalty.

I don't disagree I find the support rules in BK rather confusing for the Germans but that maybe cos I am only on my first coffee of the morning!

Same situation with the French Groupe de Fusiliers Motorcyclistes. The DLC and DLM lists have a 2 point option for a team. I assume spending 5 points would get a squad (2 points for each team and a JL)?
