I've just started reading the PDF while my hard copy wings its way half way around the world, and ..... well ..... oh dear, oh dear .....

It's somewhat awe inspiring, isn't it? I feel myself getting totally sucked in here, to the detriment of many other games and periods in which I was all set to indulge myself.

Kudos to Rich & all concerned - methinks this may just be the best gaming product I've ever encountered in my 44 years of participation in our hobby.

Oozeboss

Thanks for your kind words. It was a labour of love but it took some hard work. I'm glad you like it.

Cheers

I've already gone way past "like", Rich. Now I just have to wipe the drool off my screen, and then I can crack out my long cherished (but as yet unpainted) early war Fallschirmjägers!

Den Hague & Dombås, hier kommen wir!

(And then: Walmington auf See!!!)

Got my book on Friday and my PDF yesterday (which I can sneakily read at work)
but now I have a conundrum, a brutal choice to make

I have bought a Crusader Dragon Portes platoon (got to love 2 LMGs per section) and had every intention of using them as Dragon Portes
I also love there support list with the AMR 35 and Somua S35 options

but then I turn the page and what do I see but the Chasseur Portes Platoon and their BLUE TROUSERS!

so do I go with my first choice and khaki all the way or do I change track and get to paint a WW2 army wearing Blue Trousers

Oh and does anyone happy to know anywhere in the UK that sells 28mm (1/56) scale AMR 35s?
Also are the Dragon Portes not meant to be broken down into Demi Groups and just operate as a blob squad?

Cheers

Nice, just bought the PDF for a very reasonable £16.80. There's a lot in there, and to be honest a lot of it will be really useful beyond just EW games. The rules for assault boats, motorcycles and cavalry for example, and some of the scenarios. I really like the look of the one where the defender has to carry out demolitions while falling back. Nice work, Rich.

Doh it's really killing me that i told my girlfriend about this book as now i have to wait until the 19th of octobre to possibly-maybe- get it as my birthdaygift! :(
Should have just preordered it and asked for early war models instead!!

Paper copy arrived on Saturday morning (just after I had left for Colours - which probably saved me a lot of money, as I'm sure I would have bought loads of stuff if I'd had it to hand!!!) and the PDF arrived by email last night. Spent yesterday reading the paper copy and only one word will do - excellent.
No plan survives first contact with the dice.

I have to admit that the Early War Miniatures company will now be taking a fair amount of my money, the Chasseurs Ardennais platoons are enormous!

Terrific resource for sure.

Royal Mail delivered my book today in Tucson, AZ. Looks way better than the pdf.

Thanks again for another quality product from TFL!
