CoC Participation Demo Game, 5 Sep 13
I'm taking a bunch of platoons and tanks to a local board/FoW store and demoing CoC to any and all takers. The venue is Gamer's Armory in Cary, NC and we'll shooting for 1700 to start the first Patrol Phase.

Good Luck JT .... how comfortable are you now with the rules ? .... I still find myself referring a lot to them which slows things up a bit

I've ran through 30 phases solo so far and plan on getting in another 30 in the next two days, one session a tank-only fight just to see what that feels like.
I feel pretty good about knowing the rules as most of the questions I've seen about them I knew the answer or the answer didn't surprize me too much if at all.

I hope one day to make the pilgrimage to Lard Island.
The Mrs wants to make the trip and see a bit of the whole UK and I think it'd be interesting, too, so maybe there's a chance.

If you do get over here, just let us know! We usually meet on Thursdays but we can put a game on any day of the week - and there's plenty to see up here!

There's about an 80% chance a distant relative of mine fought at Stirling Bridge. Be kinda neat to see that area.JimLeCat wrote:If you do get over here, just let us know! We usually meet on Thursdays but we can put a game on any day of the week - and there's plenty to see up here!

That's about 150 miles north of here! Mind you, there are Scottish Lardies in that neck of the woods, I believe.
Neville's Cross was fought about 2 miles from here, does that help?

Yip, Stirling Castle about 55 miles from me and we'll worth a visit in my humble opinion.
The Edinburgh/ Musselburgh Lardies are even closer
Cheers

You may call it sarcasm......I prefer to regard it as a humorous observation!!

And the Falkirk Lardies are closer still and would be happy to host a game on a Monday evening for any of our American cousins making the pilgrimage to Stirling Castle particularly next year!
