I'll second that.
These things are always very useful.

Excellent reads, and despite the one daft comment from a fully paid up member of life's peanut gallery, many of the numerous lessons expounded within the articles are equally applicable in a lot more games than just CoC (and a lot more periods than merely the mid C20).

Well, I wasn't going to do one today, but I sketched this out while watching the Remembrance Sunday service on the box. A strange combination in some ways.

Part Five, Fire & Movement is now on Lard Island News.

This is a great series, thanks for the insights. Looking forward to the pdf for further study.

Living this series, keep up the good work!

What about infantry-armour cooperation for a future one? Or just something on effective use of supports in general

Infantry armour cooperation would be a good special article I think. I have to admit, I need to finish this series sharpish as a) I have other things to do, like finish the lists updates, and b) this seems to be putting people off the rules. Since I've been doing the series, sales of CoC have gone through the floor! :(

I wonder if these are putting people off? Any thoughts?

As the series has only been going a few days I think it might be coincidence.
As much as I am enjoying the tactics articles the army lists and full arsenal will enable more people to get into the game by widening the- "Oh I can use my existing figures/army"

Probably coincidence, but tbh anybody put off a wargame by an article discussing how to apply real world tactics and principles to it isn't the kind of person who would contribute much to the game's community and longevity anyway. I think the fact that you've had loads of positive comments and (as far as I can see) only one negative one speaks volumes.

A agree with Seret! Tank attack/AFV supporting infantry would be really great and fun to read! Great series!
