Re: A15 Crusader II CS?
According to July 13, 2017 CoCulator, Armor 5, AP 3, HE 6, 1 or 2 LMGs (one in separate auxiliary turret). Otherwise average. Total 15 or 16 points, for a support rating of 5. Note that smoke ammunition (6"?) is standard.

Best 5 points you can find for the period.
Re: A15 Crusader II CS?
If it is a Crusader II CS, it won't have the 2nd MG, they dispensed with the Aux turret.
Re: A15 Crusader II CS?
All the CS tanks are pretty awesome for CoC...
Re: A15 Crusader II CS?
It's a Crusader, there should be a better than 50/50 chance it broke down or broke a track on the way. One thing that does slightly bother me is that some of the really unusual support options are very good value, and so tend to appear rather more frequently than their real world analogues. (Flame-throwers being an obvious example). I do appreciate that the CoCulator is an attempt at balancing things a bit, but should there be a premium for 'rarity in real life' ?

Re: A15 Crusader II CS?
Very valid point, @DougM. But the same can be said for even the nature of the very platoons we play (away from PSC's).
As an example, the Axis fielded at MOAB recently comprised 4 Panzer Grenadier zugs and one of Volksgrenadiers (which - inevitably - ended up being the only one that I did not get to play); while the Allies consisted of two British paratroop platoons (downgraded to Regular, & without their Superior Junior Leader rules applying), two American Armored platoons (one of them mine), and a single regular line infantry platoon (in this case, British).
Since returning to weekly club games, I have played nothing but bog standard, common as muck, garden variety regular infantry platoons.

Re: A15 Crusader II CS?
Didn’t ASL have a rather clever rarity factor iirc?
Re: A15 Crusader II CS?
You make a good point, but then, a competition like MOAB brings out competitive players. The lists aren't absolutely balanced, and besides which, lots of players build forces because they think they are cool. Too many viewings of 'A Bridge Too Far', or 'Cross of Iron'. The other factor is that players may well have built forces for PSC, like Von Luck.
Luckily for me, I love trying to do my best with average or rubbish, so while I have figures for a whole range of platoons, including British Airborne & US Airborne, the ones painted so far are 1940 French, 1940 German, DAK, 8th Army, Late War British and Late War Heer, I'm painting 1941 Soviets, and the next candidates for the painting table are Italians in Sicily, then US Infantry. I will get round to the 'Elites' like US, German and British Airborne sometime.
