In 1941-1942 at least, the anti-tank, light AA and artillery regiments serving with the 4th Indian Division were British under the umbrella Royal Artillery. I don't know about the Indian divisions in Malaya or later in Burma-I'm working on the 4th in North Africa and Tunisia.

Plenty of heads with Tams for sale much more than Glengarrys.
FWIW I did see a piccie of the Argyles in ME with Glengarrys

I did associate the Argyle's with Glengarries, but maybe for Malaya, I will use a mix. The Woodbine heads too big for Perry you reckon though?

What about using the Warlord plastic 8th Army? Each frame comes with six Tams heads.

Thanks for that, but I am not a big fan of the Warlord figures. The feet and heads always look too big to me.

I have just done 30 Japanese Warlod plastic - feet and heads were perfectly in proportion.

Problem with Warlord is every new release can have a different sculpting style, especially with the metals

Cost of buying separate heads will bump up the cost no matter which figures you use. Woodbine Tam heads may be alright on Perry 8th army I dunno as I have not seen either in the flesh.

All I can say is the Woodbine service cap heads I bought fitted perfectly on my Warlord and Artizan metal Soviet scouts.

I don't dislike Warlord. I have a ton of their figures and vehicles, and they have been great to do business with. But the images of the commonwealth infantry look like wombles in a roid rage. I can always grab a sprue cheap off eBay and check them out.
