1939 Polish Platoon?

Post by sjwalker51 » Fri Jun 21, 2019 5:03 pm

Tempted to make this the next project, once I’ve completed 1940 Belgians and Germans. Cou0le of immediate questions, while I trawl the forum for useful past threads:

I’ve downloaded the list from the blog: is this still the definitive list to work to? Are there any scenarios or PSCs I should be building my initial forces for?

Figures: in 1/72 (20mm) I’ve seen the Early War Miniatures and Stonewall ranges - any others I should be aware of? What about suitable armour support?

Thanks all!

Simon

First to Fight made in Poland has a full range of stuff.
That list is the only official.list I know of.

Check out the Plastic Soldier Review site for reviews of the FtF figures.

I would also suggest the 1939 Poles Errata thread as an adjunct to the reading of the 'official' list.

If you are planning historical transport for your platoon, you should take a look at GRAMODELS. They provide the light platoon cart and anti tank guns and limbers - correct for cavalry and infantry.
