this is my conversion from the warlord games plastic universal carrier posted here last year,

I have also looked at other books which give different names to each.
My question, what do I call them Bren or Scout carrier?
cheers John

Bren Carriers were issued in Infantry Battalions. Scout in Divisional Recce which were Cavalry Regiments. You have built a Bren carrier. Universally people seem to have commonly called both Bren. The Scout was armed with a Boys and a Bren.

John.
The conversions you have done are definitely called Bren Carriers. If the crew compartment at the back is on the other side it is a Scout Carrier.
As far as I know regular infantry units used the Bren, whereas reconnaissance units used the Scout Carrier (which possibly had a radio).
