Bloddy Bucket campaign

Post by victorj » Tue Mar 05, 2019 8:42 am

Probably a silly question but does anyone know where the stats are for the M16 Quad 0.50 AAA Half track available as an American support option? Read the campaign booklet and can't find it and its not in the main rule book either.

Thanks. Sorry but I'm not 100% sure of the order of the reply?

If I read the factors in the 2nd line in the same order as the first it reads

Armour - 3
AP - 2
HE - HMG
Secondary Armament - None
Speed - Fast

Which I'm struggling with. Should it be

Armour - 3 (seems high for a half track)
AP - 2
HE - 16 (seems reasonable for 4 x 0.50 cal
Secondary Armament - HMG
Speed - Fast

Again, thanks for your help and sorry if I am missing the bleeding obvious

No your first reading is correct according to the consolidated arsenal.
I thought I had formatted it but it lost it when I hit post.
Armour 3 is cos it was 25mm vs Sdkfz 251's 12mm IIRC.

thanks again for your help - sorry for the delay in replying but I've been very busy the last couple of days

So, just so I know I have got it right the stats are

Armour - 3
AP - 2
HE - 16
Secondary Armament - None
Speed - Fast

could you tell me where to find the consolidated arsenal - it sounds like a very useful resource but I'm new to the forum and I can't see it for looking

Side plates are only 6mm even with the tops folded down on a M16 that's only 12mm. Same for the Windshield. In fact the M3s side panels wont stop 7.92mm AP rounds. If anything the Hanomags better because its armour is sloping. But not enough in COC terms to be different.

I agree Andy and would be tempted to rate em both 1 or 2 but this is one of the issues of sticking to a mm based formula.
