Sure shot? Looking down the barrel? Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win?

Its easy to tease the Beast of War stuff, but I think they do an important job, and getting some CoC stuff up there will be really good for the game and community.

With that in mind it would be good to have a little tidy up of the forum perhaps?

Certainly making really easy to find the 1940 BEF / Heer lists needed for the WI scenarios would be good

The forum is a bit of mess with regards the stickies and to me isnt a great start for those getting into the game.

The fact that lists are on other sites and not easy to find is somewhat my point TT...

Sorry not sure what you are getting at.
There is a sticky above that links to all the official lists held on the TFL site.
There have been no new ones since then and no files can ne physically held on this site.

The lists are on toofatlardies.co.uk. Same site. Granted it's slightly counter-intuitive to navigate to the Blog before finding the downloads section, but if you hit any search engine with "Chain of Command 1940 lists" the top three hits are the German, British and French lists. Most of the other hits on that page take you to the same places via a roundabout route. I wouldn't say they're at all hard to find.

The stuff squirrelled away on the Yahoo Group might as well be locked in a box at the bottom of the sea on another planet, but the stuff on the main site is pretty accessible.

Well in the kingdom of the lard the one eyed man is king I guess!

I can but base my opinion on my own experience....

If you look at the top 5 posts on this forum only one has posts from this year and it created an impression of limited activity.

Yes, doing a search for the 1940 lists gets results, but to the neophyte to CoC that might not be the first port of call....it wasn't for me I tried to used the confusing army list thread!

It takes a while to find out about the adjusted force listing which could certainly be more obvious.

For me, if lots of new people might looking at CoC a good 'spring clean' would be advantageous.

That very reason is why I look forward to the updated FAQ. Speaking of which, any progress on that, Seret?
