I have written a QRS for Sharp Practice 2

Post by Cptkremmen3 » Mon May 02, 2016 2:40 pm

As one is not supplied and some of the rules such as all the uses of command cards are spread all over the place I drew up a 4 page sheet for myself and friends.

I can supply the microsoft publisher original file if anyone wants to amend.

All suggestions for improvement would be appreciated

It is customised for French Indian Wars so some weapons etc are not included.

There's a lot in there that will become completely intuitive (and hence unnecessary) after a few games.

Works when accessed form the forum.
I'm sure a lot of this won't be needed after a few games, but for those of us not part of the playtesting, this will be very useful to get up to speed on SPv2.
Particularly the command card usages.
Thanks.

I did 1 1st one then modified it but changed the name and removed the old one afraid if you got a 404 you were clicking on the old link which i thought i removed.

I wrote it because of the command cards, they confused me a lot, plus the uses of a CI point.

The move/shoot fisticuffs is fairly straightforward and just copied out of the book but in one place

One thing you might want to add (because we forgot it). If 3 command cards are drawn in a row, there is a random event.

I'll be working on a QRS tomorrow. However, I should warn you that the QRS I produce will focus on what you need to access during a game and will omit anything which I think is learnable in a couple of games, such as ranges and "to hit" rolls.

Couple of comments to consider:

Sharp Practice also allows a unit to completely reload even where that requires more than 1 action.

Not sure why a Leader using 1CI to move independently gets only 1 D6 of movement. I think once activated he can use up to 2 actions to move like everyone else. He can also run unless wounded. (p33)
