I've meant 30 miniatures not minutes ;p. If so I have enough miniatures to make two forces.

Yes, very interested. Not on the Yahoo group (don't really like them!) but would appreciate a copy of the draft rules and very happy to proof read...

I'm also very interested in this! :)

I'm Spartacus! Count me in, looks good, I had almost given up hope, or more properly I had considered this a forlorn hope.......

I've now added an appropriately named folder to the files section of the Yahoo Group with Marquis' original draft rules (called "By the Sword") and cards.

I won't be able to do anything with them myself for a few months, so would be interesting to see what others can come up with, either for a 1645 or Border Reivers setting.

Enjoy, and thanks to James for letting us have access to his rules.

Nearly missed this, I'll grab a copy from the yahoo group this weekend.
Thanks for getting this going again.

After a few good reads I think adding in the suggested pike formation would be good, as would variations for gallopers/trotters.
I'm planning on doing this in a Thirty years war/ eastern frontier style, so may throw a few suggestions in from that angle.
i think I'll try my first solo playtest next weekend..

Any news? I'm very (very very) slowly making some colonial militia and indians for my anglo-powhatan wars project so I'd more than happily use them with SP 1645.
