Cav in fisticuffs

Postby Grahamc » Sat Aug 12, 2017 7:40 am

Hi,

A simple one for you gurus.

1 cav charges into another cav.
The charger moves into contact at canter. The receiver of the charge, was moving at canter.
Assume they do not meet at a middle point but at receivers frontage.

What speed are they doing after the fisticuffs.?
In this case, the charger lost by 1, so withdrew, as again assumed facing forward.

I'd say that both have been halted by the Fisticuffs and will start at the walk. That keeps life simpler.

We assume all momentum is lost and you start from the walk.
otherwise you could gallop through a whole army!
