How Do I Obtain a Copy of These Rules?

Post by Nikephorous » Mon Aug 12, 2019 1:07 am

Hi All,

These rules seem to have fallen off the face of the earth. If it wasn't for John and the Devon lads I may never have realised how brilliant they were.

Whilst my lack of foresight in not purchasing these earlier was unfortunate, I am gobsmacked to find they have fallen completely off the planet.

Can someone assist me with the location of a hard copy, pdf or extremely well founded rumour?

Many thanks

John

Try contact Richard directly, email address on the TFL site.

AFAIK there was never a hardcopy produced, only PDF.

Rich only acted as the distributor for Dr Phil Hendry who wrote the rules and they were only ever in PDF. I think that agreement has ended.

I see Dr Hendry started an A2A blog but there have been no posts since 2014. Rich May be able to put you in contact with Dr Hendry but remember Rich is away on holiday now and I suspect he may have a bit of catching up to do when he returns. Might be best if one of the Devon lads lets you have a copy of their PDF!

If you are still after a copy, you can have mine - printed and PDF.

Whilst I do have a pdf of the rules i do not have the army lists. If anyone would be so kind as to share the army lists with me it would be much appreeciated.

I don't think there ever were any army lists - you are expected to devise your own scenarios. Given that the rules are a kind of mash-up of Hail Caesar and the Lardy card-driven mechanics, I'd think any Hail Caesar scenarios would work.

There is a review on Meeples & Miniatures which covers the rules & army lists & includes pictures of both. Apparently there was a QRS too & some tokens.

There was indeed an army guide, which came bundled with the rules.

If you want a copy I would ask Rich.

Cheers,
Jim
