Dux B for Middle Earth?

Post by EasyEight » Fri May 27, 2016 6:42 pm

Hi,
I read about a Fantasy variant of Dux B on the Lead Adventure forum, from a few years back. Has anyone ever done such a variant? I can see parallels between different real and fantasy factions -- Dwarves using shield wall, Orc in mass formation; each faction would have their own command cards, etc.
Cheers,
John

Thanks for the links, I'll read through them! I see references to actual rules, and being a lazy gamer, if anyone has created the rules, army and unit lists for Middle Earth or other fantasy settings, I would love to get them.

Anyone? Any links to actual rules, not just interesting after action reports??

Not sure if it's the same version of rules as was used on that blog, but there is a file on the Lardies yahoo group with a conversion to LOTR

Possibly. The file on the Group is called "Lard of the Rings" and it's pretty bare bones -- but a good starting point.
