Very interesting especially what the Soviets considered the effective range of SMGs.

Never knew anything of Sevastopol apart from a painting until I looked at Iremember on your suggestion. I’ve ordered “where iron crosses grow” and the Sevastopol Osprey campaign, same author. I have only started to take a look at the eastern front recently, it all began in nomonhan after starting to collect a 15mm wwii Japanese army. The scope for the patriotic war is so big, I could be in there for a lifetime. Covered the winter war briefly, can’t wait o get my t-28 out. I looked at the perspectives book this morning on amazon, after deciding on the above then I saw the reviews, a bit off putting.

Goldarnit, it costs more to ship than to buy. Must see if I can get it elsewhere.
